In Person Meetup at Terra Nova Park in Richmond

It is time for another in person meetup. The weather promises to be good so we are meeting outdoors. The location, Terra Nova Park at the western end  River Road in Richmond.  We will be there between the hours of 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

Follow River Road until you get close to the Dyke Trail barricade, basically as far as you can go. VEVA will be just to right on the Fraser River bank near the washrooms. If the parking lot is full there is usually lots of street parking. 

L'aromas Coffee Shop Terra Nova at 3677 Westminster Hwy. is the nearest coffee shop.

Sorry, no coffee shops at Terra Nova, so stop in at L'aromas for a takeout or bring your own drink. If you want a snack or lunch best to bring it with you unless of course you buy a treat at L'aromas.  However, a Ben and Jerry's ice cream truck is planning to be there. 

The weather man says hot and sunny for that day so wear a hat, use sunscreen and possibly bring a parasol.  There are picnic tables but a folding chair is probably a good idea.
